House rules
Nothing is ever sold. Cards have no value.
House rules version 2026-11-v1
Last updated 3 Oct 2026
Draft for review. This text is not in force yet.
These rules apply to the Fate League Pack and every card in the Fate League collection, in every server that runs FateLeague.
- Nothing is ever sold. No packs, no paid speed-ups, no paid odds or guarantees, and no perks for Server Boosts, Server Subscriptions or Patreon. No packs for paying for a game's product. No packs from any event with an entry fee. Players never pay for anything.
- Cards have no value. Before your first pack you accept that cards have no value and cannot be sold. Trading, when it arrives, is card for card only. Selling, buying or asking for money, in-game items, crypto, NFTs or anything of value for cards means a ban.
- Real prizes are only for placement, never for pulls. No game's in-game items are tied to the collection; for Might and Magic Fates, whose in-game items are NFTs, never.
- The odds are published, on the odds page and behind every Odds button, including the effective rates measured on the real pack function with every guarantee switched on.
- Some cards never trade: Champion cards and every Record. Might and Magic Fates cards never trade either.
- Every card says what it is: "Fate League collector print. Not an in-game card." Might and Magic Fates prints say "Fate League collector print. Not an in-game card or NFT." The message under every pack says it too.
- Age and defaults. You must meet Discord's minimum age (at least 13). Trading, when it arrives, asks you to confirm you are 16 or over. Pings and DMs are off until you switch them on. Nothing rewards days in a row. Your collection on the website is off until you switch it on.
- Every game's art is used with its developer's written permission, recorded before the game joins the pack. A set can leave new packs; cards you own stay yours. If a developer withdraws its art, the image becomes a placeholder with the card's name.
- No casino language anywhere in FateLeague. The one word kept is "odds", because the odds must be published.
Rips are public
Every pack you open in #rip-packs is public: everyone in the room sees your cards and your display name in that server. Hide my collection (in /settings, from December) leaves your set counts out of the summary and hides your collection from others.
